Iguanas are large, cold bloodied, egg laying reptiles. Some people believe that Iguanas can communicate through eye movements. Besides all of that we think Iguanas are just plain cool. This is a how to draw an Iguana step by step drawing tutorial using the letter toons tutorial method, hope you like it.
How to Draw an Iguana Step by Step
Begin by drawing a letter I
Add an opened oval like shape to the top of the letter I you just drew.
Add features to the oval like shape, like an eye, mouth and nostril and now you have an Iguana head.
Now add a few more features, a circle for a cheek, an iguana eyebrow and an Iguana waddle underneath the chin.
Draw an iguana arm and claw. Look closely and you can see how the I has become a key part of the Iguana arm, it makes up the fold of the elbow.
Add a curved line on top to form the Iguana back, a curved line underneath makes the belly and another forms the beginning of the back leg.
Add the details to form the clawed back foot and the back of the leg.
Now you can add a tail to the body, it begins at the back of the leg and connects to the back.
Details, details, details make the man and the beast- add stripes on the tail, spikes to the back and a bumpy area on top of the tail. Now add color!
