Y is for Yak and Yaks are interesting looking animals found in the Himalayas. This is a drawing guide on how to draw a cartoon Yak, using the lettertoon method, hope you enjoy it.
How to Draw a Yak Step by Step
Start out by drawing a capital letter Y.
Add hair to one side of the Y.
Let’s add hair to the other side of the Y now, as you see in the picture above. The hair does not have to be symmetrical.
Now we can add some nostrils to the bottom of the ‘V’ part in the letter Y. Our Yak is slowly emerging, can you see it?
Now let’s draw in our smile for our happy fellow!
Next we will draw in a beard using jagged lines. Peter the Yak is looking great.
Now we can draw in two big horns. Peter says thank you, he loves them.
Add some ears and now Peter can hear you say you’re welcome.
The best drawings never skimp on the details and that’s our next step here, add lines to the horns and hair to make our yak drawing really jazzy.
