How to Draw a Cute Reindeer

Reindeer are a type of deer found in the Arctic tundra and forests in Greenland, Scandinavia, Russia, Alaska and Canada. They have been used by native peoples in Serbia and Canada to pull sleds and love cold climates. They became associated with Christmas in the 19th century and today when we think of reindeer our first thoughts are of them pulling Santa’s sleigh. This is a ten step drawing tutorial on how to draw a cute reindeer.

How to Draw a Cute Reindeer Step by Step

Start by drawing two circles that will be your eyes, draw the smaller circles inside as shown in our example.

Let’s draw a small circle between the eyes, this will be the reindeer nose. Add a large circle shape to the nose.

Add a semi circle shape to form the reindeer face.

Draw simple anthers to the reindeer face.

Close the semi circle between the antlers.Draw in a smile to make this cute reindeer happy.Add a square like shape under the face circle, this will be the reindeer body.

Add a few lines to the bodies shown in our example to make the legs. Add ears to the head.

Add a circular shape between the legs this is the reindeer stomach. Add the pointed oval shape to the ears.

Draw a few more lines to form the back legs on either side of the first legs you drew.

Let’s add the curved lines to the legs to form the hoofs. Add a pointed oval shape to the back leg on one side, now our reindeer has a tail.
