Ballerinas have been around since the 1500’s but women were not allowed to take part until the 1600’s! Ballet is a beautiful art form and loved by many people. Below is an easy step by step drawing tutorial on how to draw a cute ballerina.
How to Draw a Cute Ballerina Step by Step
Start by drawing a circle, about a half inch above this draw a bow.
Draw two small half circles on either side of the circle head. Draw the hair next, the bottom portion of the hair looks like a mushroom cap.
Now let’s draw the torso, it looks like a rectangle and ends in a skinny flat rectangle like shape. This is the cute ballerina’s belt.
Draw a ruffled shape for the skirt under the torso.
Now we can draw the legs. Draw two long oval shapes under the skirt.
Draw the arms next. They look like skinny open triangles.
The arms will end in a ribbon shape, these are the hands.
Draw curved lines to the legs, these are the ballerina shoes. Add a U to the torso underneath the head.
Let’s draw the face. The eyes are drawn with curved line with another curved line for the eyelash. Another curved line will be the smile. Draw two lines inside the ears as shown. Add a small circle to the shoes to make them look more like ballerina slippers.
