Robins can put up with really cold temperatures. So it is not unusual to see Robins out on tree branches even in the middle of winter. This is a drawing guide on how to draw a cute winter Robin.
How to Draw a Cute Winter Robin Step by Step
Start by drawing a line that looks like an ear, as you see in the example.
Add an upside down tear shape to the bottom of your line.
Next let’s add a few lines to draw the bird’s body as shown in our image. We use a curved line for the back. The lines that make up the tail are like an open triangle.
Draw a circle for the bird’s eye. Add a smaller circle inside for the eye’s pupil and a smaller circle under that for the eye’s highlight. Add a triangle to the head, this is the Robin bird’s beak.
Draw a curving line on the bird belly. Now decorate the wing with curving lines.
Draw the bird’s feet by drawing two stick like shapes. These will end in a ribbon like shape. Now draw the branch it looks like a laying down, skinny Y.
Finish drawing the branch using five curvy lines on the other side.
Finish the branch as shown in the example. Add two circle shapes to two of the branches.
Add more ball shapes to the branches, now the tree branch has loads of berries on it. Our cute bird will love munching on those later.
Now let’s color our cute bird. We have colored our bird in browns with a red belly. Do not forget to leave the high lights in the eyes white. White highlights on the berries look very good too. Click Here for more cute Christmas pictures.
